Ukraine to receive gas for $130 per 1,000 cubic meters
The RosUkrEnergo Company will supply no less than 55bln of cubic meters of gas at the price of $130 per 1,000 cubic meters in 2007 to the Ukragas-Energo Company; it is said in a statement released by RosUkrEnergo press office on October 24. Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovich is quoted by a REGNUM correspondent as releasing the same information at a joint briefing of Russian and Ukrainian premiers in Kiev.
As REGNUM informed earlier, the price for imported natural gas of $130 per 1,000 cubic meters has been recorded in Ukrainian state draft budget 2007. Swiss the RosUkrEnergo A.G. Company is exclusive gas supplier to Ukraine, according to Russian-Ukrainian agreements reached early in 2006. The company supplies gas in the country, bought in Russia and Central Asian states.
