South Ossetia rally in support of referendum
A rally supporting referendum in South Ossetia was held Oct 27 in the Kvaisa settlement of the Java region of South Ossetia. Representatives of political parties, parliament members, and students gathered for the meeting, REGNUM correspondent reports.
The attendants said that Nov 12 is a day when the Ossetian people will have to confirm their political choice, to state before the international community once again that their choice of independent development is correct and the sovereignty of South Ossetia has to be recognized.
Both the referendum on independence and presidential elections are to be held in South Ossetia on Nov 12.
