Georgian wreckers invade Abkhazia mountains
Georgian wreckers have appeared in the mountains of Abkhazia, REGNUM correspondent reports quoting reliable sources in Sukhumi. According to the sources, Abkhazian authorities have taken a number of precautionary measures. Checkpoints have been strengthened and patrols dispatched to some highland districts of the republic.
Minister of internal affairs Mikhail Mindzayev recently made a statement that the Georgian intelligence was creating special diversionist groups for sabotage in the Georgian-Ossetian conflict zone. This the minister relates to the Georgian side's striving to destabilize the situation before the referendum and elections of president of South Ossetia.
Two acts of wreckage occurred in the conflict zone for the last two days.
