Report: All polling stations ready for voting in South Ossetia
All polling stations are ready for voting in South Ossetia, the republic’s Cental Election Commission Chair Bela Pliyeva says, noting that all the polling stations are prepared, equipped with cabins, ballot-boxes, phones and visual aids.
As a REGNUM correspondent informs, according to the CEC chair, for convenience of voters, texts in ballots are printed in Russian and Ossetian. We have received a request from the village of Karzman to prepare ballots in Georgian, as its population does not have enough knowledge of Russian and Ossetian. For this polling station, we have printed ballots in Georgian,in case of necessity, we are ready to send them to other polling stations, Pliyeva said. I am sure, the elections on November 12 will be conducted at top level, with high voter turnout, as corresponding attitudes of voters have been registered, CEC chair is quoted as saying.
