Voter turnout in referendum and presidential election in South Ossetia exceeded 90%
By 18:00 local time, voter turnout in the referendum and presidential election in South Ossetia on Nov 12 made 91.2%. 86.6% of registered voter came to polling stations in the city of Tskhinval. Voter turnout made 96.3% in Tskhinval region, 85.9% in the Java region, 95.9% in the Znaur region, and 99% in the Lengory region.
97.2% of citizens of South Ossetia have voted in the ballot stations set up for the referendum and election in North Ossetia.
