Russian journalist beaten in Tskhinval
Late Nov 12 a correspondent of Vremya Novostey daily Ivan Sukhov was beaten in the capital of South Ossetia. As the journalist told to REGNUM correspondent, he was assaulted in Tskhinval when Eduard Kokoity was speaking before the public. Unknown people beat the correspondent and stole his backpack where he had his documents. The victim asserts that the assailants knew that he was a journalist. Ivan was hospitalized with a maxillofacial trauma.
