Referendum in South Ossetia a serious signal for the world community: Kokoshin
Referendum on the status of the republic held in South Ossetia is a serious signal not only for Russia and Georgia, but also for the whole international community. We must take it into account as much as possible, head of the State Duma committee for CIS and relations with compatriots Andrei Kokoshin stated Nov 13.
REGNUM correspondent quotes Kokoshin to say that the result of the referendum is obvious and easy to forecast. He says his personal contacts with the residents of South Ossetia make him pretty sure what they think of national independence and being a constituent part of Georgia.
