Abkhazia’s parliament welcomes results of South Ossetia’s vote
Parliament of Abkhazia welcomes the outcomes of presidential election and referendum of independence in South Ossetia. The deputies call parliamentarians of the entire world to “recognize and support the unquestionable manifestation of the will of the people of South Ossetia about independence of their country.”
“Convincing results of the presidential election and referendum of independence of the Republic of South Ossetia have once again proved that the Ossetian people and authorities have made the right historical choice,” it is said in the address adopted Nov 15. Abkhazian parliament expresses support to the president of South Ossetia Eduard Kokoity and the people of the republic in their strengthening the sovereignty and statehood of South Ossetia.
