Iranian foreign ministry pays official visit to India
On November 16, Iranian FM Manouchehr Mottaki arrived on a two-day official visit in Deli, IRNA Agency informs stressing that the Iranian FM will meet with Indian prime minister Manmohan Singh, FM Pranab Mukherjee, and Indian oil minister during his visit. Discussion of a wide range of bilateral relations’ issues is expected. Major issues of the Deli meeting agenda are the problems of transport and power engineering, in particular, plans to construct the Iran-Pakistan-India gas pipeline. Very likely, the Iranian nuclear program and India’s position on the problem will also be discussed.
Deli has already twice voted for the UN resolution on ban on Iranian nuclear research.
