Ukrainian defense minister remains in office
Ukrainian Supreme Rada will not consider dismissal of Defense Minister Anatoly Gritsenko. Deputy head of the Regions Party faction at the parliament Yevgeny Kushnaryov made the statement to reporters on December 11, a REGNUM correspondent in Kiev reports.
We do not intend to initiate dismissal of the defense minister, as the issue is not vital any more, to my mind, Yevgeny Kushnaryov particularly said. At the same time, while commenting on the situation around dismissal of Foreign Minister Boris Tarasyuk, the Regions Party member said: The parliament does not intend to review this issue, as up to the present moment we have put an end to the Tarasyuk matter.
Besides, Yevgeny Kushnaryov told reporters that this week the anti-crisis coalition plans to initiate the issue of appointing emergency minister, but declined to name any candidatures.
