Abkhazia, Transdnestr and South Ossetia prepare statement concerning “crimes against humanity” committed by Moldovan and Georgian authorities in the republics
At a session on December 18, the Interparliamentary Assembly of Commonwealth for Democracy and Rights of Nations established a commission to draft a resolution calling upon the international community to condemn “crimes against humanity committed by the authorities of the Republic of Moldova and Georgia in 1989-94 in the territory of the Republic of Abkhazia, the Republic of South Ossetia and the Transdnestrian Moldovan Republic,” a REGNUM correspondent informs.
Adoption of the resolution addressed to the international community planned for next session of the Interparliamentary Assembly of Commonwealth for Democracy and Rights of Nations.
