China left without internet connection
On December 27, a powerful earthquake hit Taiwan destroying plenty of residential houses. The initial earthquake was estimated at 7 on the Richter scale.
The quake damaged the fiber optics that connects the continental China with the outer world. Thus, it is practically impossible to surf from China web-sites hosted on foreign servers.
