Belarus to declare blockade of Russian media
Since January 1, Belarusian leadership intends to introduce information blockade of Russian media, a competent source in Minsk informs. Gazprom intends to cut off gas supply to Belarus on the same day at 10 a.m., RSN informs.
At the same time, answering a request to comment on reports on possible full information blockade of Russian media in Belarus starting from 2007, republican information minister Vladimir Rusakevich said: I have nothing to comment on. There is no reason for comments. The channels are broadcasted, subscription on Russian newspapers was carried out successfully.
By the evening of December 28, Gazprom and Belarus reached no agreement on delivery of gas in 2007. However, the talks continued.
Gazprom says, Belarus was offered to buy gas at the price of $105: $75 in money and $30 in Beltransgaz shares. The Belarusian prime minister is sure that Gazprom and Belarus will come to an agreement in the next few days.
