Belarus intends to sign contract with Gazprom in 2006
A delegation of Belarusian energy ministry is departing from Minsk to the Russian capital to sign a contract with Gazprom. As Belarusian energy minister assistant Andrei Zhukov told reporters, “we shall sign the contract before the new year.” Part of the Belarusian delegation is in Moscow already and having talks, Vesti informs. Gazprom that proposed the price of $105 per 1,000 cubic meters of gas to Belarus intends to cut off gas supply at 10:00 a.m. on January 1, 2007, if the contract is not signed.
