Timoshenko’s bloc believes that 2006 for Ukraine was year of crisis and disappointment
2006 gave no positive result. On the contrary, it became a year when Ukraine made a step backwards, to the times of Kuchma, BYT leader in Donetsk Region, Ukrainian MP Vladimir Skubenko told REGNUM on December 29.
The passing year will undoubtedly be remembered by the elections. It was a hard time for all of us and a test for the whole country. Unfortunately, the elections were only a beginning of a large-scale system crisis. Ukraine is making not just a step backwards, we find ourselves again I the mid-90s, the Kuchma times: state-run economy methods, democratic processes are being curtailed, achievements of our country in the world arena are being played down, living standards are decreasing. It was disappointment in the leadership what the year brought to us, Vladimir Skubenko believes.
