Armenia report, Kosovo status and Russian-Georgian relations to be considered at PACE winter session
At its first session in 2007 scheduled for January 23, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe will consider a report on Armenia’s obligations. Earlier, Speaker of the Armenian parliament and head of the Armenian mission in PACE Tigran Torosyan assessed positively the report and a draft resolution on it. On January 24, the session will be dedicated to the status of Kosovo. Besides, participants of the session will discuss rights of the child and threats to journalists.
As PACE press office informs, at the session that will be held from January 22 to January 26, the question of tension in the Russian-Georgian relations will be considered.
