Scotland Yard has information on possible murderer of Alexander Litvinenko
Scotland Yard officers have information on possible killer of ex-KGB officer Alexander Litvinenko, ex-KGB resident in the UK Oleg Gordiyevsky told Radio Liberty. According to him, the crime was committed by a professional killer, who arrived in London from Hamburg on November 1 under a counterfeit EU passport. Gordiyevsky said that investigators have a photo of the possible killer made by CCTV cameras at Heathrow Airport.
As REGNUM reported earlier, ex-KGB officer Alexander Litvinenko, who in 2000 fled to Great Britain and was granted UK passport in October 2006, died at London University College Hospital on November 23. His body was contaminated by polonium 210.
