Tbilisi welcomes returning of Russian ambassador to Georgia
Tbilisi welcomes Moscow’s decision to return to Georgia Russian Ambassador Vyacheslav Kovalenko recalled in last September, Georgian Foreign Minister Gela Bezhuashvili said in a phone talk with Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov on January 18.
According to a release by the Georgian Foreign Minister, the phone talk was initiated by the Russian side. During the phone talk, the ministers also discussed vital issues of the bilateral relations and ways of solving problematic issues. The two sides stressed necessity of improving the relations and intensifying our cooperation, the report says cited by civil.ge.
