Putin: Russia wants no trouble with anyone
Russia maintains partner relations with everyone. We never act for confrontation, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced at his annual news conference at the Kremlin (Moscow) today. We have good relations with CIS countries, although there are some problems. For example, we cannot settle our contradictions with Georgia. Besides, we have close partner relations with EurAsEc countries.
Russia wants no trouble with anyone. We have contradictions, but we try to settle them peacefully. Not always complications in relations with other countries have a political nature. For instance, a year ago we had complications with Ukraine concerning economic issues. But they did not come out of the economy. We are still partners and friends with Ukraine and we shall always come to its rescue. We made an economic decision and our relations have not become worse, Putin explained.
We also had problems with Belarus, but we managed to sign all agreements in time that gradually turn our relations into a market way. And we did not bury the idea of a union state with Belarus.
