Scotland Yard received inquiry from Moscow on Litvinenko case
UK Home Office confirmed on February 4 they received an inquiry from the Russian prosecution concerning a trip of Russian investigators to London to interrogate witnesses on the Litvinenko case. However, according to a spokesman for the Home Office, no decision on certain requests has been made yet.
The Russian Prosecutor General’s Office sent an inquiry about possibility of interrogation of over 100 witnesses on the case of murder of Alexander Litvinenko and attempt on Dmitry Kovtun to the British side in January. The list of those of interest to Russian investigators includes Boris Berezovsky and Akhmed Zakayev.
