US president denies reports on preparing strike against Iran
US President George Bush denied reports that Washington was preparing a military operation against Iran. In an interview to C-SPAN television Bush called the reports noise stirred by his opponents in Washington. At the same time, the US president accused the Iranian authorities again of being belligerent and planning to obtain nuclear weapons.
Earlier, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad announced that the West thinks that Iran would give in under pressure or resolutions, however they know they could do nothing by their sanctions. At the Iranian president noted that the Iranian nuclear problem is fully politicized. He also reminded that in no IAEA report on Iran fixes any contradictions or digressions from peaceful nuclear program. At that he said that US and UK put their influence upon the reports, so they had no legal or documentary basis.
