Iran continued producing nuclear fuel in Natanz
Iran continued producing nuclear fuel at uranium enrichment at the facility in Natanz, Iran's Atomic Energy Organization declared today in response to statements made by IAEA Director General Mohamed ElBaradei about Iran suspending uranium enrichment. Iran’s activity to enrich uranium in Natanz continues as scheduled. No change has taken place in the enrichment process, says Iran's Atomic Energy Organization.
Earlier, ElBaradei’s statements were also refuted by Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki. Iran’s legitimate activity aimed at nuclear fuel fabrication goes its natural way, he said. There has been no change in the direction, the minister is quoted as saying by IRNA.
