Iranian official: Decreasing technical assistance to Iran will affect its cooperation with IAEA
IAEA’s decision to cut down technical assistance to Iran in nuclear activity can affect Tehran’s cooperation with the IAEA, Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki announced today. He also said that the decision showed IAEA’s politicized approach to Tehran’s activity, Radio Liberty informs.
Earlier, on March 8, the IAEA Board of Governors made a decision at its session in Vienna to freeze technical aid to Iran on 23 from its 55 programs. The decision was taken following Iran’s refusal to halt its nuclear activity, particularly, uranium enrichment.
