Georgia to sue Russia in European Court of Human Rights
Today, on March 26, Georgia plans to present a claim against Russia to the European Court of Human Rights.
As the chair of the Georgian parliamentary committee on human rights, Elena Tevdoradze told Imedi television, “the matter concerns violation of human rights during mass deportations of Georgian citizens from Russia.”
The claim will be presented to the court in Strasburg by Zurab Chiaberashvili, Georgia’s envoy at the European Union.
