Moldova’s president: Moldova’s position on Transdnestr conflict settlement supported by mediators and observers
Moldova’s position in the question of Transdnestr settlement is supported by mediators and observers and this allows to be optimistic about prospects of the conflict settlement. The statement was made by Moldova’s President Vladimir Voronin during his visit to the village of Kochiery located on Dnestr River left bank but falling under Chisinau’s jurisdiction, a REGNUM correspondent informs.
At present moment, a number of initiatives proposed by participants of the negotiation process are being considered. The initiatives would encourage speeding up of the Transdnestr conflict settlement, the Moldovan president said.
Voronin’s visit to Kochiery was dated to opening a machine station in the village.
