Youth in aggressive mood gathering near Kyrgyz government

Young supporters of “For Kyrgyzstan’s Well-Deserved Future” United Front and “For Reforms!” Movement are continuing their rally near the government. Young opposition activists moved to the right flank of the Kyrgyz “white house” (residence of the government). A unit of special police forces has drawn up opposite to the crowd, a REGNUM correspondent informs.

The number of protesters near the government has not changed; they are still about 200. However, as the REGNUM correspondent says, not less than 1,000 young supporters of the opposition gathered in lines and parks nearby.

A police officer on duty near the government supposed that “opposition leaders especially left the aggressive youth near the white house.”

The situation remains tense.
