Iran and EU resume talks on nuclear program
Iranian National Security Supreme Council Secretary Ali Larijani is planned to meet EU Security and Defense High Commissioner Javier Solana on April 25.
As IRNA informs, an agreement on it was reached yesterday in a phone talk.
During the talk, Larijani also stressed that Iran, while insisting upon its lawful right for a peaceful nuclear program, has always been ready for talks with all interested parties.
Earlier, Solana and Larijani had a phone talk on April 5. During that talk, the European diplomat called Iran to renew the nuclear talks. In his turn, Ali Larijani stressed that Iran is ready for talks only in the sphere of guarantees that there no deviations from peaceful character of the Iranian nuclear problem, but not against the Iranian people.
