Expert: General referendum must be held in Georgia on joining NATO
The United States are stirring up Georgia against Russia in order to use it as a small change, Director General of the Foundation for Unity of the Russian and Georgian People, President of the Congress of Ethnic Organizations of Russia, Professor Vladimir Khomeriki announced at the Russia and Georgia: from Conflict to Cooperation round-table discussion at REGNUM press center in Moscow.
Later the USA will tell Russia: Take this Georgia and trample it down, and give us Iran or Iraq instead, added Khomeriki.
We, Georgians living in Russia and being its citizens do care about Georgia’s fate, the director said. And when I hear about NATO, I become horrified of what can happen to Georgia and Georgians living in Russia in case our country joins the alliance.
