Newly established Russian Investigation Committee will investigate Litvinenko case
The newly established Investigation Committee at the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office will engage in the investigation of the Litvinenko case, said Alexander Bastrykin, who was appointed to the post of the Investigation Committee head by the Russian Federation Council.
According to Bastrykin, reports RSN, the committee is ready to cooperate with prosecution of the United Kingdom, but we do not receive mutual activities sometimes from the British end, he said.
The UK prosecution is working on the single version: Russian businessman Andrei Lugovoi is charged with the murder; however, the Russian side has other versions.
