EU representative: There is no dictatorship in Transdnestr
Transdnestr is not a closed dictatorship, it is a structured, where there is pluralism of views and intentions. Mediafax agency (Romania) quotes EU Special Representative in Moldova Kalman Mizsei as saying at a news conference in Bucharest yesterday. According to him, the dialog between Moldovan and Transdnestrian societies is very important in the context of the Transdnestr conflict settlement. Besides, according to him, the European integration will help the Republic of Moldova being more attractive for the Transdnestr region and thus promotes re-integration of Moldova.
Earlier, REGNUM quoted EU Special Representative in Moldova Kalman Mizsei as saying that everyone, whom he met during his last visit to Tiraspol, was unanimous that it is necessary to come to agreement with Moldova. Another matter is on what conditions, the European diplomat said. Mizsei stressed that the European Union was and is an active participator of the Transdnestr conflict settlement interested in resolution of the conflict.
