Britain does not rule out expelling Russian diplomats
Britain is preparing a tough response to Russia for its refusal to extradite Russian citizen charged Andrei Lugovoy in the UK with murder of Alexander Litvinenko.
As British media report, London is balancing on the edge of expelling Russian diplomats as a sign of protest, for the first time within a decade. Earlier, some media reported that the UK Home Office was thinking over revising the relations with Russia in trade, education, information exchange on combating terrorism.
As REGNUM reported earlier, Russian sent an official refusal to the UK request to extradite Lugovoy. Moscow says that extradition contradicts the Russian constitution that rues out a possibility of extraditing Russian citizens to other countries.
