Berezovsky thanks Scotland-Yard for his rescue
Boris Berezovsky is trying to distract attention of the public from his political and financial gerrymandering by releasing statements about alleged attempt on him, Russian Ambassador to the United Kingdom Yuri Fedotov said on air of BBC5. The diplomat reminded that Berezovsky was notorious for his political and propaganda intrigues. Neither the embassy nor Moscow received any official information from either the Scotland Yard or other law enforcement authorities in Britain regarding statements dispersed by Berezovsky about another attempt on him, Fedotov said.
Earlier today, British media released a sensational report about a masterminded assault on Boris Berezovsky, Russian tycoon living in exile in the UK. Another surge of rumors about Russia’s malicious plans in London is now taking place accompanied by exchange of official statements regarding extradition of Andrei Lugovoy to the UK.
Through The Times, Berezovsky thanked the Scotland Yard for paying appropriate attention to his security. The tycoon also informed that three weeks ago he left Britain, when it turned out that his life was under threat.
