On July 18, UK RAF fighters scrambled already to meet Russian planes. Russian planes patrol the Norwegian coast regularly, assistant of the Russian Air Forces Commander, Col. Alexander Drobyshevsky announced.
Earlier, Russian Air Forces Commander Col.-Gen. Alexander Zelin noted that speculations that flights of the bombers are somehow connected with the diplomatic scandal between Russia and the UK are full nonsense, reports RSN.
