Putin criticizes London’s proposal: Their brains must be changed
Russian President Vladimir Putin called a rudiment of colonial thinking Britain’s proposal to change the Russian constitution in order to extradite Andrei Lugovoy charged with the British prosecution with poisoning Alexander Litvinenko.
Yesterday, in his residence in Zavidovo, Moscow region, while meeting activists of youth movements, Putin noted that London refused to extradite 30 people to Moscow, who are accused by the Russian law enforcement bodies in heinous crimes.
Their brains must be changed, not the constitution. What they propose is evidently a rudiment of colonial thinking, the Russian president said.
According to him, such kind of advice shows that Britain still has the last-century thinking in its brain. One must treat one’s partners with respect, the president added.
