Crimean youth organization accuses Timoshenko’s bloc in plagiarism
Crimean youth organization Proryv has made a statement regarding a populist move by BYT, when their election platform called Ukrainsky Proryv (The Ukrainian Breakthrough) used the brand Proryv in the BYT election campaign. The statement received by REGNUM on August 11, says that Timoshenko, without having a relevant word in Ukrainian, called her platform in Russian – proryv, while this name of the organization and its motto We shall break through! is widely known in Ukraine. It is said that under this brand, the pro-Russian Proryv being pursued by security services in Crimea and Ukraine, had a series of resonant activities starting form separation of Crimea from Ukraine to physical protection of Orthodox churches. According to the statement, now the organization is supporting the ties with Russia, the Russian language and culture, hated so strongly by Yulia Timoshenko’s Bloc.
The statement also says that the Crimean Youth Organization Proryv has no choice but to thank BYTfor popularizing the organization’s brand and to promise that depending on success of using Russian in further BYT’s work on its program Proryv can consider a possibility of making BYT members candidates to Proryv members as fighters for extending Russian in Ukrainian platforms.
