Azerbaijani foreign minister to meet Nagorno Karabakh mediators in Brussels
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mamedyarov will meet OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs on Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement Yuri Merzlyakov (Russia) and Bernard Fassier (France) in Brussels on September 3-4.
According to the Azerbaijani foreign minister, the meeting will be held within frameworks of EU events. At the meeting with the co-chairs we shall decide whether there is a necessity in a meeting of the foreign ministers. He noted that there is a proposal of a visit of the co-chairs into the region in mid-September. The Azerbaijani minister stressed that the proposals and principles remain unchanged, but there are always new ideas, reports APA.
OSCE Minsk Group co-chair from the United States, Matthew Bryza will not be present at the meeting in Brussels, as he is going to marry. Today, on August 23, he will marry Zeyno Baran (Turkey). Zeyno Baran is the director of the Center for Eurasian Policy of Hudson Institute in Washington.
