Iran comes to deal with IAEA
Iran has settled issues regarding its experiments with plutonium, the main material for creating nuclear weapons, and the International Atomic Energy Agency thinks this subject to be closed, says an agreement between Iran and the IAEA that regulates further stages of their cooperation. The action plan envisages regular and effective access of IAEA inspectors to the underground facility in Natanz, where industrial production of nuclear fuel is planned.
However, some Western diplomats say that the agreement does not envisage making Iran observing the additional protocol to the Non-Proliferation Treaty that allows inspectors visiting objects that are not declared as nuclear ones, Reuters informs.
