Main exit-poll at parliamentary elections in Ukraine is sponsored by Europe and USA
On September 30, an exit-poll will be held at 300 polling stations all over Ukraine, during which about 20,000 respondents are planned to be questioned. The announcement was made by Democratic Initiatives Foundation Director Ilko Kucheriv at a news conference The national exit poll 2007: Who and how conducts it today, reports a REGNUM correspondent.
The poll will be conducted by a consortium consisting of Ukrainian organizations: Democratic Initiatives Foundation, Kiev Sociology Institute, and the Ukrainian Razumkov Center for Economic and Political Studies. Besides, as Ilko Kucheriv said, Yuri Levada Analytical Center (Russia) and QEV Analytics (USA) were also invited to participate in the project. As the director of the Democratic Initiatives believes, the budget of the survey and surrounding expenditures will be about $130,000 that will be given by institutions representing Western European countries and the USA.
Outcomes of the exit poll will be made public right after closing polling station, which is 10:00 p.m. on September 30, Ilko Kucheriv said.
