OSCE MG co-chairs present their vision of prospects of Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement in Stepanakert
The meeting was very productive and substantial. We have presented our vision of the current situation and prospects of settling the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. It was important to learn the opinion of the Nagorno Karabakh side on the issues, OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair Yuri Merzlyakov (Russia) told reporters in Stepanakert after the co-chairs’ meeting with Nagorno Karabakh President Bako Saakyan. The Russian co-chair noted that he was impressed by the talk with the president and time is needed to analyze it.
On September 16, the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs Yuri Merzlyakov (Russia), Matthew Bryza (USA) and Bernard Fassier (France) visited Stepanakert in the frameworks of their regional tour. They met NKR President Bako Saakyan and discussed a number of issues concerning the current state of affairs and prospects of the conflict settlement.
