After new Supreme Rada new Constitutional Court can appear in Ukraine
The practice of deliberate blocking the sessions is still widely used at the Ukrainian Constitutional Court, which proves once again that the court is ineffective and politically engaged, announced Head of the Presidential Secretariat Igor Pukshin quoted by a REGNUM correspondent.
Pukshin also noted that the current Constitutional Court has lost confidence and respect of both governmental institutions and society long time ago. The Constitutional Court, being pierced through by conflicts and corruption scandals, acting by political instead of legal motives, needs immediate readjustment. One of the measures must be recalling all the judges by those agencies that appointed them before. This must be done right after September 30, in order to secure that after a new parliament is elected and a new government is formed, a new clear page is opened in the history of the Constitutional Court, the head of the presidential secretariat believes.
