As of 09:45 a.m. local time on October 1, the Ukrainian Central Elections Commission continued summing up results of the early parliamentary elections. According to a REGNUM correspondent, about half of the voting protocols (45%) have been processed already.
According to the CEC, 33.5% of Ukrainians supported Yulia Timoshenko’s Bloc, 30.4% of voters for the Regions Party. 15.62% gave their votes for the pro-presidential Our Ukraine-People’s Defense Bloc. The Communist Party gained 5.07%, Litvin’s Bloc 4.2%, the Socialist Party received 3.2%.
