Ukrainian Central Election Commission has not finished yet with the last 0.5% of ballots
At 01:30 p.m. local time today, the Ukrainian Central Election Commission was still counting ballots at the early parliamentary elections. As a REGNUM correspondent reports, 99.48% of the protocols had been processed by that time.
Under most recent reports from the CEC, the Regions Party is still in the lead with a four-percent gap from Yulia Timoshenko’s Bloc, and the Socialist Party by Alexander Moroz is still failing to overcome the three-percent barrier. At the present moment, 34.29% of the votes are received by the Regions Party, 30.76% of voters chose Yulia Timoshenko’s Bloc; 14.19% gave their votes to the pro-presidential Our Ukraine-People’s Defense. Besides, the Communist Party receives 5.38%, Litvin’s Bloc 3.96%, the Socialist Party 2.87%. Least protocols are counted in Crimea (95%), in all the rest provinces the ballot counting has been completed.
