Ukrainian president to build coalition on his own
Today, on October 8, Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko is planned to meet leaders of political forces that managed to overcome the three-percent barrier to the parliament at the presidential secretariat, a REGNUM correspondent was told at the press office of the Ukrainian president.
The subject of the talks between Viktor Yushchenko with the leaders of the Regions Party, Yulia Timoshenko’s Bloc, Our Ukraine – People’s Defense Bloc and Litvin’s Bloc will be the situation in implementing agreements on forming a parliamentary coalition and establishing the format of the relations between the power and the opposition. Communist Party leader Pyotr Simonenko has not been invited to the meeting.
