Poll: 30% Russians believe CIA to be a terrorist organization
Almost a third of Russians (30%) believe that the CIA is a terrorist organization. At the same time, 32% have the opposite opinion. About 39% found it difficult to answer, says a report by Yuri Levada Analytical Center on the vasis of a poll conducted on October 5-10, 2007, right after the Iranian authorities in response to the USA proclaiming the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps a terrorist organization announced that the CIA is a terrorist organization.
The poll has shown that 70% Russian citizens are negative about a possibility of the USA having strikes against nuclear facilities in Iran or objects belonging to the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps. 8% approve such actions. 22% found it difficult to answer the question.
Meanwhile, 38% of the respondents speak for Russia continuing the cooperation with Iran in the nuclear field. 28% spoke for suspending such cooperation, 34% found it difficult to answer.
1,600 respondents were questioned during the poll. Statistical error does not exceed 3%.
