Changes are possible in coalition of BYT and Our Ukraine, but only of tactical character – deputy leader of Timoshenko’s Bloc
A coalition agreement signed by BYT and Our Ukraine – People’s Defense does not need to be revised, however, some tactical changes are allowed in it, Yulia Timoshenko’s Bloc deputy leader Nikolai Tomenko announced at a news conference in Kiev today, a REGNUM correspondent informs.
Revising an agreement that was ratified and signed on each page will be disrespectful to our voters and our parties, the politician added. He noted that BYT respects its partners, Our Ukraine – People’s Defense Bloc. Nikolai Tomenko reminded that a serious discussion preceded initialing of the coalition agreement. He said that each page was signed by leaders of the two blocs, Yulia Timoshenko and Vyacheslav Kirilenko. Tomenko expressed hope that until Kirilenko remains Our Ukraine leader, there will be no need to revise the agreement. Everything is mentioned, everything is signed, everything is ratified in the agreement, Tomenko said.
Meanwhile, the politician admits that changes can be made in it regarding mechanisms of implementing the agreement. For instance, how to finance this or that program. Then, we are ready to come together and think it over how to find financial resources to make this expenditure article financed, Nikolai Tomenko said.
