Opinion: Iran is not a goal but means of the American hegemonic policy in the world
In reality, Iran will be capable of developing nuclear weapons under favorable conditions not earlier than in ten-twelve years and specialists do understand it, political analyst Karine Gevorgyan told a REGNUM correspondent commenting on the situation with the Iranian nuclear program and the US-Iranian conflict.
As the expert believes, the noise around the issue is increasing status of Iran in the eyes of the radical political Islam, and henceforth a question arises: if it is profitable to Iran, why is the United States interested in continuing the fighting? Karine Gevorgyan cited as an example Pakistan that has nuclear weapon, the situation is unstable there, however, the United States shows no special concern on the issue and does not say it is ready to take the situation in the country under its control. Meanwhile, any deterioration of the situation in the region will automatically result in a leap of oil prices and strike the EU and Chinese economies, believes the analyst and comes to a conclusion that Iran is not a goal but a means of the American hegemonic policy in the world.
