Georgian opposition has no single candidate for presidency
The Georgian opposition has not come to a common opinion over a candidature for presidency at the January 5 presidential election.
On November 12, majority of opposition organizations agreed to nominate Levan Gachechiladze, an independent Member of Parliament. However, Shalva Natelashvili, the leader of the Georgian Labor Party, announced that he did not plan to give up running for presidency.
Earlier, well-known businessman Badri Patarkatsishvili announced his plans to run for presidency too.
