Our Ukraine leader assumes parliamentary coalition will appear today
An agreement on coalition of Timoshenko’s bloc (BYT) and Our Ukraine – People’s Defense can be signed as early as today, the head of Our Ukraine – People’s Defense Political Council Vyacheslav Kirilenko told reporters in Kiev yesterday, a REGNUM correspondent reports.
We have spent much time to searching for compromises between the parliamentary coalition and the opposition. We are ready to establish all conditions necessary for a democratic country to the Regions Party to let them oppose the ruling coalition, the government, and give powerful levers of control over the Cabinet of Ministers to the Regions Party, Kirilenko particularly said. There are no people among us willing to revise the will of those who voted for Our Ukraine – People’s Defense and our intention to build a coalition with BYT, he added.
To remind, BYT and Our Ukraine – People’s Defense have 228 seats from 450 at the sixth Supreme Rada and earlier initialed an agreement on establishing of the coalition.
