Yanukovich believes he would remain Ukrainian prime minister
The Regions Party figures to participate in the parliamentary coalition and that it will keep the prime minister’s post to itself, said Prime Minister, Regions Party leader Viktor Yanukovich speaking after inauguration of the sixth Supreme Rada, a REGNUM correspondent informs.
The prime minister expressed confidence that a broad coalition will be established at the Supreme Rada and noted that in case the Regions Party participates in forming the coalition, he intended to work in the government. I am willing to work for stability of the country, I will work where I am needed, Yanukovich said. He also informed that the Regions Party will decide on leadership of its faction at the parliament after the coalition is formed. Everything will depend on the format of the coalition, the prime minister noted.
