Armenia and Azerbaijan’s foreign ministries meet in Madrid
Armenian and Azerbaijani foreign ministers, Vardan Oskanyan and Elmar Mamedyarov met in Madrid today, on November 29. As spokesman for the Armenian foreign ministry Vladimir Karapetyan told REGNUM, Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov, US Undersecretary of State Nicholas Burns and French deputy foreign minister. During the meeting, they discussed issues related to possibility of progress in the negotiations over the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement.
The spokesman also informed that yesterday, during a dinner with participation of OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs, Vardan Oskanyan and Elmar Mamedyarov had a meeting too. They discussed issues related to the session of the 15th summit of OSCE member-countries’ foreign ministers, the subject of frozen conflicts that are to be included into summit declaration and questions about uncoordinated positions of the sides in the negotiation process.
